Military Ribbon Display - If you have medals, letters, photos or other military memorabilia of a loved one, don't put them in hidden boxes, display them with these shadow boxes. Collect medals, photos, hats, badges, records, postcards or other items related to your loved one's military service. Place them on the table and arrange them in a way that looks good to you. There is a protocol to follow with the same medals, ribbons and flags. You should research your options. Other things are not required in the way of presentation but it is always good to show respect.

Once you've laid your items out, you need to measure the design. Add a border to your figures to leave some room in the box and add another 1/4 inch to hold the back and acrylic sheet in the box.

The lumber used in this project can also be found in the lumber section of Home Depot. "S4S" means "four sides" and means that this tree is ready for construction. However, wood is a natural material that responds to the environment and can warp or change with temperature. Additionally, wood can be damaged during shipping and handling. Take your time to find the right board for this project.
Also, some of these trees are sold by the square meter, which means you can buy pieces of wood. You can find some boards you like that are less than 8 feet long. "Project rods" are sold in lengths of 3 or 4 feet.
Note: Keep the protective film on the glass until final assembly. The static electricity in the glass will attract dust, which is difficult to clean properly.
In general, to build such a shade, you will need a router and rabbeting bits and a table saw. These programs will use a small device.
Military Medals And What They Mean
The size of your box may vary depending on what you want to put in, as explained in step 2. The box we will build for the board will have a front of 14 inches wide and 11 inches tall.
We will measure the interior design of the box once it is assembled, but it will be two pieces about 15 1/2 inches long and two pieces about 13 1/2 inches long. All will cut the miter at the end of 45 degrees.
We will use 18 gauge brad nails to fasten the box together. Another option would be to use a hole. If you choose to go this route, make two pocket holes on each end of each 1 x 4 x 11 board. They should be about 1 inch from the end.
Drilling hole pipes often causes the holed part to slip. This process is very difficult to overcome in forests like jungle. You can try using a screwdriver to completely cut the pocket hole, then place the pieces as they will be glued together and use a long drill to go as far as possible into the receiving piece.
